Scroll Down if You Want to Read About Ministry, This is About FOOD!

David don't worry, I'll respond to your thoughts on culture pretty soon, but had to share where I ate today...

My family and I took a trip down to Deep Ellum today for lunch. Deep Ellum is where a lot of indie artists play and it's a pretty different area compared to the rest of Dallas. But on the main street in Deep Ellum is a gem of a burger joint called the Twisted Root. It's one of the best (not the best) burger's I've ever had. Everything there is home made. They have amazing shakes there that have home made ice cream in them, home made buns, sweet potato chips, all kinds of good stuff. Here's some pics from our lunch and a video from the Twisted Root guys. If you live in Dallas you don't want to miss it. A special thanks to Clint Miller for turning me on to this delicious goodness.

Mike,

Make up your mind. It seems like every burger you taste is the "best" burger ever. To be clear, you've made similar comments related to:

5 Guys
Mooyah
Twisted Root

The strangest thing is that you've eaten with me at JG's twice and never mentioned it. In reality, a JG's burger is actually the best burger known to mankind.

I think I said "one of the best burgers ever", and in parentheses I said not the best ever. Five Guys is the best burger ever. Penuel once five guys opens at the Galleria, you'll be a believer as well.

The Hulmes and the Millers decided that we vote Mike the king of superlatives...

Superlatives is the perfect word. I concur with your assessment.

Dude you guys are awesome; you're like THE BEST people to do ministry with.

I feel like speaking for the Millers here when we have a variety of "best burgers" depending on the location... JGs is one of clint's faves, I am a Chip's follower, and twisted root is our happy medium. What is 5 guys?

I love this blog- and the superlatives. I also love that clint freely uses words like superlative in regular conversation.
