Wake Review for 5/4/08 & 5/11/08

Wake is our weekly meeting for Junior High students at Watermark. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00am on the 4th floor of the Watemark Tower. Here is my assessment of this week's Wake.

These were the first 2 weeks of our "Decide" series. Everything we've been doing the last two weeks has involved the kids making decisions. We've handed out ballots and the kids have enjoyed voting for the video they want to watch. Every game we've played has involved making decisions. This week, we pulled the plug on worship music and let the kids decide how they wanted to worship...through prayer, Bible reading, encouraging, journaling, or listening to a song (Shout out to Brandon Grissom for the ideas). Overall, it's been a pretty cool two weeks.
