Mike Shelton is our High School Director but he leads a Small Group of 7th grade guys (pictured above). Today, Mike and I took three of his Small Group guys out to lunch. If you were in the booth next to us, here are some things you might have over heard...
"You can only be a youth pastor until you're 40. Then you have to work with single moms."
"You guys look like two molesters."
This isn't really a quote but, you might have noticed that one of the kids had blood in his mouth after another kid punched him in the face.
"While I was carrying over the poop, I decided that I shouldn't go through with it. When I handed them my poop, I told them that I wasn't going to do it."
"It's cool. I don't have to go back to school yet...I have a doctor's note."
